Product Review Reminder

This Product Review Reminder extension for Magento 2 helps you to partially or completely (as you wish) automate the product review process. It automatically sends an e-mail with an invite to complete a product review for the bought products in exchange for a coupon code if enabled. The time interval and the e-mail itself can be configured easily which results in a perfect tool to easily gain your product reviews and boost your trust level and collect unique content.

It's easy to set up a review reminder invitation profile where you can set the conditions and actions like you want, in this way, you can specify the rules when the e-mail needs to be sent based on the customer profile, order values, store-view and/or country.

From the main configuration, it's possible to enable the function to automatically approve new product reviews so the coupon is sent right away. You can also enable the admin e-mail so you receive an e-mail after someone submitted a review so you can either check it or set it to approved if the automatic approvement option is set to no.

The Product Review Reminder with default e-mail templates can be set per country and/or per profile. In this way, it's possible to customize the e-mail template based on the profile that is used. With these profiles, the e-mail can differ from language and/or product group on what's bought so you can change texts in the e-mail for purchase for fashion and/or electronics for example.

From the e-mail, the customer is sent to a new front-end section where the order information of the client is filled in and there are 3 visible steps for writing the review. Using these 3 steps with a clear front-end, there is no distraction during this process which certainly benefits the conversion. These 3 steps are;

Step 1. Products The customer details are filled in and the client can check which products are going to be reviewed; Step 2. Review Only chosen products are shown with the review values so the customer can focus on writing; Step 3. Submitted The success page is shown and, if activated, the e-mail with the discount cart rule is sent to the customers.

Reward with a discount code! After the submission of a review, you can reward the customer with an automatically generated cart-rule coupon, in this way, you encourage writing a review which would result in a higher conversion of the e-mail and increase the number of product reviews right away!

Review Invitation Profiles

There are many configuration possibles within the review invitation and you can create as many invitation profiles that you want. Some variables that can be set within these Invitation profiles are;

• Set the Review invitation per; Store-view
• Set the Review invitation per; Customer group
• Set the Review invitation per; Order status
• Set a delay; a number of days the email will be sent out after added to the queue
• Set a maximum offset; a number of days the email will be sent out after added to the queue
• Set conditions; If ALL of these conditions are TRUE for example
• Set first e-mail settings; as BCC, sender e-mail, and the default template
• Set coupon e-mail settings; as BCC, Cart rule for the coupon and the default template
• Overwrite default template; Override the default email and coupon template per country if needed.

Insights of the Review Reminder e-mail

Within the extension, you have access to different Grids and places to get a good insight into the queue and touchpoints.

Order level; Review Reminder Log After enabling the Product Review reminder extension, a new tab on order-level is added. In this tab, you can see the actions that are connected with this order and it's possible to perform some actions. You can manually add the review reminder to the queue, schedule it and/or open the form URL.

Grid; E-mail Queue A clear grid with all the queued review reminders and their status. From this grid, it's possible to process the queue review reminder, delete it from the queue list or open the link order right away.

Grid; Log An extensive log grid with all the events that are executed. In this way, you get a perfect insight into all the actions and events fired by the Product Review Reminder.
